Anene Bekuma Terefe

My name is Anene Bekuma Terefe. I was born and raised in Ethiopia. I completed my BSc in Computer Science in 2014 at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. During my senior year at Addis Ababa University, I have participated in a real-life software development project for Addis Ababa Prison Administration on Prison Record Management System. The project lasted for one year and my main role was an application developer. After getting my degree I was hired at Bank Of Abyssinia and worked for two years in Information System Security Office unit. I was hired as junior information security officer but later I was promoted to an information technology security expert. I moved to Suwon, South Korea in 2016 to continue my master's degree in Computer Engineering at Ajou University. Currently, I am studying my MSc as a member of WISE lab of computer engineering department at Ajou University. My research area includes the co-location of related data sets and load balancing.
